We are so excited to bring the faith, skills, fun, and life lessons that have been the lifeblood of P2Q for 10 years to the community. Sisterhood, Girl Talk, relationship navigation, social-emotional health, leadership, and arts and skills are amazing ways to lead a young lady to and through her identity in Christ. This program will allow our 7th-10th grade young ladies to
meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Character + Identity, Sisterhood, Relationship Navigation, Social + Emotional, & Leadership
We expose our students to faith formation, social + emotional management skills, academic checkups and check-ins, character and Christian identity in Christ, leadership lessons, and guided mentor and sisterhood conversations during our Tuesday sessions.
Character + Identity
Character + Identity are an important part of the development of young ladies, they will learn how to use the fruit of the spirit to identify their character and the way they should carry themselves. While growing their relationship with God and breaking down their God-given identity, which connects to who and Whose they are.
John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
Social + Emotional
Social + emotional management skills are important tools our students will learn, develop, and practice. Social + emotional skills will include problem-solving, self-regulation, empathy, and more. These skills will help improve our DU students' academics, increase positive social behaviors, create positive environments, and help them successfully manage everyday life.

Phillippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Sisterhood + Relationships
As a P2Q we pour into our young ladies the importance of sisterhood and why having positive relationships helps you throughout life. Sisterhood creates strong bonds that last forever, a brave and safe space, and affirmation to share with one another. Sisterhood and relationships are based on trust, loyalty, forgiveness, respect, communication, and compassion. Learning relationship skills as an adolescent can help youth make positive decisions about other aspects of their lives; friendships, and school. It will enhance their self-esteem, as they will always be around people in life, and have to develop a positive way to have and maintain relationships.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up."
Leadership
Leadership is a word our students will continue to hear throughout their life, at DU we want to ensure our students properly understand what leadership is, and what being a leader means in all aspects of their life. Leadership will instill confidence, problem-solving skills, team building, responsibility, attitude, and personal growth. Having leadership skills will allow them to succeed in all areas of life.

Matthew 20:25-28 Jesus tells His disciples that leaders should not exercise authority over people. Instead, whoever wants to become great must lower himself to be a servant. Leaders realize that serving others is the only way to lead with a pure heart, free of pride and arrogance.
Arts
On Thursday we allow them to unleash their creative side while connecting their creative genius to the Creator through different art forms and other mediums. We are excited to offer the P2Q program and we ask you to help us by sponsoring a child for one full year of after-school programming. Your sponsorship will cover the cost of all art materials, expert teachers, field trips, snacks, and the big end-of-the-year expo projects.
Our theme for the year is "Unleashed for the Future".
Arts
Unleashing DU students to their creative side while connecting their creative genius to the Creator, provides students an opportunity to identify their gifts and talents from God. DU students are able to select classes that they are interested in; painting, podcast, entrepreneurship, dance, sewing, music, graphic arts, and more. Every gift is from God. We all have different talents and God-given gifts, but they are all important and can be used for God's kingdom.

James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadow."
