Sponsor The Sewing & Craft Room
Our goal in exposing our youth to sewing and crafts is to teach them patience, process, following directions and team work. With each step in the sewing and crafting of projects there is a natural and spiritual lesson to be learned. We are also exposing them to a possible career in fashion, marketing, crafts and even the opportunity for a high school or college business idea. Be a part of unleashing these skills in our youth by sponsoring our Sewing and Craft Room

Dance is a universal language shared by all, at Detroit Unleashed dance is a staple class that's available for our students to take every year. The Detroit Unleashed students learn about the history of dance, the genres of dance, and the importance of dance. Dance allows our students to find their creativity through our Creator. Beyond the history and genres of dance, the importance of dance gives each student the individuality of who they are. Students go through life everyday bottled up with emotions, feelings, and creativity. With dance, we allow DU students to release everything bottled up and provide a safe space to learn more about Whose they are. The meaning of dance and why someone loves to dance is different for each student. DU students learn about their emotions, expressions, gifts, body language, and more. The most important part we want our students to gain from dance class is drawing closer to God, learning a new way to communicate with Him, and gaining a new outlet to express themselves.

Let's face it, Social media is a big part of the lives of our children. We need to take it back and help our youth navigate this space the correct way. Detroit Unleashed will use our podcast and public speaking sessions to lead our youth in the right direction. We hope to infuse videography and photography into these sections. Help us to create the space and the studio for our youth to practice and perfect this craft that can develop into a pretty lucrative career path. With God and character at the center of it all we will assure the direction will be the right one.
Barbershop and Salon Suites
Unleashed for the Future
Detroit Unleashed has the opportunity to allow students to learn the basics of barber and beauty salon skills. On one side of the Dream House we will have a small two station barber shop. On the other a two station make-up station and salon suite. Both young ladies and young men will be exposed to both of these fields and get hands on experience of what it's like to work in and own a salon from experts who will come in for mini workshops. We hope that we can help with those who participate in the organization to get star treatment from their fellow participants when they can't afford to go to a professional salon.
Joint Programming Space

Where We All Come Together
Prayer, confessions, bible study, group chats, meetings and anything that needs us all to be together at once is what we call our joint program spaces. We also plan to create a mind body and soul space where kids can take a moment to self regulate, relax if they are not feeling well or just hang out. Help us to make both spaces safe and comfortable for our kids and to maintain and cleanse them monthly to protect from COVID -19 and other viruses.
